Click here to zoom Picture.Craft Link is the leading not - for - profit oganization working with handicrafts and producers in Vietnam.
- The Craft Link development and design team implement income -  generation of   projects  for handicrafts producers. Craft Link cooperates with NGOs and INGOs (such as CARE, the United Nation Drug Control Program and Oxfam Hong Kong ) to carry out handicraft components of poverty alleviation programs.
- The Craft Link business team manages the wholesale, retail and export of handicrafts produced throughout Vietnam.
- Craft Link coordinates exhibitions and bazaars to raise awareness of ethnic minority crafts and culture.
- Craft Link cooperates with Vietnamese institutions such as the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to document and revive traditional crafts.
- The Craft Link Association of Craft Producers is comprised of more than 40 producer groups, most of whom belong to ethnic minotities. Craft Link   practices fair trade, ensuring that the producers earn fair wages.

March, 2000
  • March 8, International Women Day: Exhibition on "The Art of the Hmong Collar" and reception at the Press Club. Traditional collars embroidered by Hmong women as well as new fashions by Craft Link designer are on display though March.
  • March 10 - 20, Training in Ky Son, Nghe An: Management and design training for Hmong and Thai women.
  • March 13 - 24, Workshop in Ta Phin, Sa Pa: Design and sewing workshop for Hmong and Dao women.
  • March 30, The Hmong and Dao in Sapa : Lecture and sale at the Press Club.

April, 2000

  • April : 1-3: Planning for paper project in Phong Khe, Ha Bac.
  • April : 16-20: Training  in Quan Ba , Ha Giang: Design and management training for Hmong women.
  • April : 18-23: Training in Muong La, Son La: Design and product development training for Thai Women
  • April : 25-29: Training in A luoi, Hue: Management training and Bazaar preparation for the Taoi women and men.

May, 2000

  • May 14th: Handicraft Bazaar at Van Phuc Sport Centre
  • May 15th : Craft Link producer forum
  • May 22-28 : Training in Bun go, Lam Dong: Management and product development training for Chau Ma weavers.
  • May 30 - 31: Craft Link's retreat.

June 2000

  • June 10 -25: Training to Laos (Tram, Huong, Craftlink producers.)
  • June 25 - July 5: Presentation in Yunnan, China on Hmong culture

  • July 20-29: Training in Kyson with the Thai and Hmong women: Follow up after Lao' strip.
